Fiona Kindlon | Sports Therapist & Pilates
The clinic is based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monghan and was founded by Fiona Kindlon back in 2006. Fiona offers a professional service aiming to improve quality of life by reducing pain and rehabilitating injury.
Fiona likes to get to the root cause of the condition or injury. Physical Therapy involves treatment and management of pain and reduced movement by means of massage, myofascial techniques, exercise and joint manipulation. In Fiona’s treatment she will track progress and check whether you are making gains in range of motion, function, and strength. Fiona policy is to get you to return to a pain free lifestyle as soon as it is possible. She keeps up to date with courses to broaden her knowledge and follow the latest research.

Dry Needling
It is a treatment used to eliminate trigger points (knots ) in a muscle. A sterile, thin filament needle is inserted into the tight muscle. Trigger points can be a source of pain and can commonly refer pain to a different area, they can cause tightness and reduced movement.
When the needle penetrates the knots in the muscle, it elicits a twitch response which indicates a release of the trigger point.
Stott Pilates
Pilates is beneficial for your health.
I teach Stott Pilates in Carrickmacross. I qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2011 and I began running classes from my work place that same year. I have people attending and committed to my Pilates classes for over 8 years. There is a huge volume of repeat attendance from clients.
My classes are client centred with a max of 5 people per class. I like to make sure that all clients receive attention and the correct information and instruction for body positioning and technique for each exercise.
